We aim to create your perfect wedding. We never hold more than one wedding per day and all hire is for the exclusive use of the Pines Calyx and the adjoining terrace for the duration of your stay.
ceremony, wedding breakfast
For your ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception you have exclusive use of this entire unique wedding venue as well as the adjoining terrace with access to the Pines Garden for your wedding photos. A beautiful setting for you and your guests to enjoy throughout the day. A blank canvas in which to style your theme, be it natural, vintage, seasonal or eco-chic.
reception
We can cater for all of your wedding reception needs including our locally sourced and carefully selected caterers, wine packages, staffed bar and a large range of music options suited to the building’s superb acoustics.
ceremony only
The ceremony room and reception rooms are both light and airy domed circular spaces with stunning views across the garden, lake and out to sea. You also have access to the large garden terrace for your drinks reception.
the upper roundel
A fantastic circular room, set on the first floor. This room affords yet more views across the garden and with french doors opening onto the adjoining private terrace it makes for the perfect place to hold a drinks reception. The upper roundel can comfortably seat 80 guests for a wedding breakfast.
the lower roundel
This is where your ceremony takes place. During your reception the room is transformed into an area for music, dancing and merriment and a place for your guests to mingle after the wedding breakfast.
approved premises
We are fully licensed for civil weddings, civil partnerships and the renewal of vows. Your ceremony will be held in the Lower Roundel. This circular room on the ground floor, is suitable for up to 100 guests. The bright airy space has fantastic acoustics and panoramic views across the surrounding gardens to the sea.
